Namaskaram 🙏🏻
I am CP Babu from Thuravoor, currently marketing partner of Advance Software Consultancy, running the Ezhava Nadan-Marunadan Swapna Mangalyam initiative. I also operate a travel business from Thuravoor.
The idea originated through an acquaintance with Suresh Shenoy, who was running similar seva in another community. This is a not-for-profit social initiative by my team to serve the global Ezhava community.

Mangalyam requires a cloud database to store profile data of grooms and brides and Smartsheet (which is an American company having customers drawn from Fortune 500 companies besides federal and state government organizations worldwide) fits the bill. One of the requirements for this to work is to have a paid business plan and a paid subscription I have obtained is being used for the present purpose. Incidentally, my team have more than 8 years’ experience in developing Smartsheet based solutions for our global clients.

The potential groom/bride or possibly a parent/relative must fill a form online giving details of bride / groom (whose link can be sent by various means like WhatsApp etc. or can be embedded in a central website as is done here. In the form one can upload files like photo, photo – Id proof, etc. This data straightaway gets stored in the Smartsheet database. This acts as a source from where it can be sent to the other brides/grooms in pdf format at periodical intervals. Also, there is provision for editing or updating the data/info entered earlier, through an automatic update request sent periodically.
An obvious advantage of Ezhava Nadan-Marunadan Swapna Mangalyamis that up-to-date profile data is available centrally on Smartsheet cloud data base which obviates the need to store/organise data. It also makes it easy if any changes are to be made periodically like qualification change, job change – residence place change etc.

2. All the brides / grooms in the database whose id has been verified with Id proof even date of birth is verified. (ID proof is only for office use and not shared with any party so that no chance of misrepresentation and misuse by the parties.)
3. Once you have entered the data and after necessary verifications, the contact person is added / invited to the relevant whatsapp groups where you will get available brides/grooms pdf list periodically.
4. The person who enters the bride’s/groom’s data can contact us for any change in the data.

Please note that the data you are required to enter are called fields and there are two types of fields i.e. mandatory (marked with red asterisk) and optional; mandatory fields must be filled without fail to facilitate submission of the form.
Two critical data inputs that are required from the person who enters the data are e-mail and mobile number which need to be filled in correctly and these are validated in the next step before acceptance of registration. Moreover, all further communication, exchange of information (like receiving potential list of grooms/brides) is effected through whatsapp and data updation is effected only through e-mail. (Assisted updating is also available after you contact us) So, the person who enters the data should monitor the email and whatsapp given in the form regularly at least daily.

The necessary attachments to the form and instructions: / ഫോമിലും നിർദ്ദേശങ്ങളിലുമുള്ള ആവശ്യമായ അറ്റാച്ചുമെന്റുകൾ:
1. must One or two good photo/s – top half with clear face and optional one full length
2. must Photo – Id proof and Date of Birth proof (driving licence / pan card / aadhaar card / passport.) This will be only required for the Mangalyam system and if you opt for Elite or Premium service, and this ID will not be sent to anyone. This is necessary and if we do not get photo – id , the profile for Premium and Elite is not considered for registration.
3. We do not want Bio-Data and Horoscope is optional.
4. Please fill the ‘Comments’ fields with required information so that information is complete.
5. Go through the form fully before submitting it.

3. ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് ബയോ-ഡാറ്റ ആവിശ്യമില്ല, ജാതകം ഐച്ഛികമാണ്.
4. വിവരങ്ങൾ പൂർണ്ണമാകുന്നതിനായി 'കുറിപ്പുകൾ' ഫീൽഡുകളിൽ ആവശ്യമായ വിവരങ്ങൾ പൂരിപ്പിക്കുക.

3.E-mail and Mobile Verification Code
On submission of the form as per instruction in S. No 1 above, mobile verification code and e-mail verification code will be sent to the mobile number and e-mail address respectively once for registration through Mangalyam Smartsheet System. You need to send back both these verification codes through the link that you will receive through e-mail.

മുകളിലുള്ള നമ്പർ 1 ലെ നിർദ്ദേശപ്രകാരം ഫോം സമർപ്പിക്കുമ്പോൾ, മംഗല്യം സ്മാർട്ട്ഷീറ്റ് സിസ്റ്റം വഴി രജിസ്ട്രേഷനായി മൊബൈൽ വെരിഫിക്കേഷൻ കോഡും ഇ-മെയിൽ വെരിഫിക്കേഷൻ കോഡും യഥാക്രമം മൊബൈൽ നമ്പറിലേക്കും ഇ-മെയിൽ വിലാസത്തിലേക്കും അയയ്ക്കും. ഇ-മെയിൽ വഴി നിങ്ങൾക്ക് ലഭിക്കുന്ന ലിങ്ക് വഴി ഈ രണ്ട് വെരിഫിക്കേഷൻ കോഡുകളും തിരികെ അയയ്ക്കേണ്ടതുണ്ട്.
4.Updation of filled in data for groom/bride
The person who entered the bride / groom data, can be sent update requests periodically to the email to make changes, if any, in the entries made originally (Please note that there is no provision for changing e-mail address and mobile number, so, one must be careful while entering. In a real case of requirement of change in email / mobile number - Mangalyam Team can be reached on whatsapp for necessary changes.
4. വരന്റെയോ വധുവിന്റെയോ പൂരിപ്പിച്ച ഡാറ്റയുടെ അപ്ഡേറ്റ്
വധുവിന്റെയോ വരന്റെയോ ഡാറ്റ നൽകിയ വ്യക്തിക്ക്, ആദ്യം നൽകിയ എൻട്രികളിൽ എന്തെങ്കിലും മാറ്റങ്ങൾ വരുത്താൻ ഇടയ്ക്കിടെ അപ്ഡേറ്റ് അഭ്യർത്ഥനകൾ ഇമെയിലിലേക്ക് അയയ്ക്കാവുന്നതാണ് (ഇ-മെയിൽ വിലാസവും മൊബൈൽ നമ്പറും മാറ്റുന്നതിനുള്ള വ്യവസ്ഥയില്ലെന്ന് ദയവായി ശ്രദ്ധിക്കുക, അതിനാൽ, പ്രവേശിക്കുമ്പോൾ ശ്രദ്ധിക്കണം. ഇമെയിൽ / മൊബൈൽ നമ്പർ മാറ്റേണ്ട യഥാർത്ഥ സാഹചര്യത്തിൽ - ആവശ്യമായ മാറ്റങ്ങൾക്ക് മാംഗല്യം ടീമിനെ വാട്ട്‌സ്ആപ്പിൽ ബന്ധപ്പെടാം.
5.Receipt of Brides/Grooms list.
List of grooms and brides available on the Mangalyam database will be made available to brides and grooms respectively through a link list sent to the whatsapp groups once/twice a week
We do not provide any other services other than the exchange of details to brides and grooms presently. Please make sure that you contact other brides and grooms contacts with tact and diplomacy.
5. വധു/വരന്മാരുടെ പട്ടിക ലഭിക്കൽ.
മംഗല്യം ഡാറ്റാബേസിൽ ലഭ്യമായ വരന്മാരുടെയും വധുക്കളുടെയും പട്ടിക
ആഴ്ചയിൽ ഒരിക്കൽ/രണ്ട് തവണ വാട്ട്‌സ്ആപ്പ് ഗ്രൂപ്പുകളിലേക്ക് അയയ്ക്കുന്ന ലിങ്ക് ലിസ്റ്റ് വഴി യഥാക്രമം വധുക്കൾക്കും വരന്മാർക്കും ലഭ്യമാക്കും.
നയതന്ത്രപരമായും മറ്റ് വധു-വരന്മാരുടെ കോൺടാക്റ്റുകളുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെടുന്നുണ്ടെന്ന് ഉറപ്പാക്കുക.
